I am a UX designer. This is my blog.
But what’s my story?
*Deep Breath*
Here is the long version… I’ve always had an immense appetite for art. So when it came time to choose universities, I enrolled to Herron school of Art & Design to pursue my dream. During this time, I inevitably stumbled upon a specific creative space: Human-Centered Service Design. It was love at first sight. I laid aside the oil paintings and charcoal sketches and transitioned into a world of psychology, marketing, typography and visual communication. A couple years later I found myself holding a B.F.A in Human-Centered Design, eager to change the world & improve end-user experience of any given product, brand, or service.
Straight away I applied my knowledge to software, starting on Mobile then transitioning to web and desktop. This fortunate turn of events has made me the User Experience Designer I am today, designing for companies such as BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan and Virtu Financial. I now design complex applications and simplify experiences primarily for financial trading software. And I love it. #Geek
My design strategy involves working through all phases of the design process including research, analysis, interaction and visual design. My main weapon of choice is Sketch.
